At the beginning of December, the monitoring studies related to the migratory species of birds in the area of VEP Isperih were completed.
The main goal of the study is to collect basic quantitative and qualitative information on spring and autumn migration, nesting and wintering birds, incl. and nocturnal migration in the site area in 2022, as well as on the migration route Via Pontica, in connection with the risk assessment for birds in the vicinity of the Ludogorie protected area.
Simultaneously, the monitoring of the migration, feeding and reproduction of the bat fauna in the area of the site took place in the period from April to October 2022 in order to meet the main requirements for the assessment of the impacts on bats arising from the realization of the investment.
